New Article in Journal of Campus Activities Scholarship & Practice

I recently co-authored a research article supporting the research of one of my doctoral students, Dr. John Smith III (Mount Saint Vincent University). This study engaged in qualitative portraiture to explore the involvement and engagement experiences of international students. I am so proud of this because it uses the novel qualitative research methodology of portraiture to humanize the experiences of international students through reflective narratives. This article highlights the individual narratives of four international students an is a wonderful examplar of using qualitative methods to authentically reflect participant voice. It is available open-access from the Journal of Campus Activities Practice and Scholarship.
