Professional Contribution to the Field Award from NASPA TAMKC

At this past 2026 NASPA-Student Affairs in Higher Education annual conference in Kanas City, MO I recieved the Professional Contribution to the Field Award from the Transracial Adoptee and Multiracial Knowledge Community in recognition of my multiracial student involvement research. The Transracial Adoptee and Multiracial Knowledge Community award for “Professional Contribution to the Field” recognizes a professional who has made a positive and significant impact on multiracial or transracial adoptee students, faculty and staff through research, on campus programming, involvement or inclusion. It was such an honor to continue to recieve visibility and recognition for my multiracial research which focuses on the ways in which they engage in placemaking and experience identity development in student organizations.
